About
Napa Valley Museum

For over 50 years, Napa Valley Museum has offered diverse cultural experiences of art, nature, and history through exhibitions, educational programs, and creative activities that engage Museum visitors of all ages, languages, and interests. Today, as many art and cultural institutions are contracting or even closing, Napa Valley Museum has expanded to offer two locations: Napa Valley Museum Yountville and a new flagship location: Napa Valley Museum of Art & Culture (“the MAC”) in St Helena. This expansion is a testament to the resillience of the region, whose beauty and bounty continue to entice visitors from around the world. Through these two museums, online galleries, plus its NVM On Tour division, Napa Valley Museum has emerged as a leading incubator of fun and approachable world premiere exhibitions like “Julia Child: A Recipe for Life,” "Dangerous Games: Treacherous Toys We Loved As Kids," and "Tiki Dreams.” The Museum also stewards a permanent collection of art, artifacts and objects evidencing the history, culture and geology of the region. With hands-on participatory exhibitions and deep explorations of iconic artists from Picasso to Walt Disney, plus showcases of regional artists, cultural movements, and historical treasures, Napa Valley Museum celebrates all forms of creative expression.
