Waiter Open Edition Giclee

After visiting Verona, Italy, to supervise the printing of his retrospective book, Lowell decided to paint the image of Verona Ristorante. He labored long and hard over that image and when it was complete, he decided that he had been off base with the design since the waiter was truly the star of the show. He was going to paint the waiter again, but first we decided to try to isolate him digitally and Lowell painted a new background for him. Here’s the original image and the waiter as he evolved
